Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for generations. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy Hydro is also building Snowy 2.0, Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly agile Administration Coordinator to join our Health & Safety, Capability and Services team. This is a permanent full-time position with changing rosters and hours depending on role coverage, reporting to the Manager Safety Systems based in Cooma, NSW.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
Providing administration support across the Health & Safety, Capability and Services team.
Coordinating functional team meetings i.e. agenda, action items, inviting attendees and recording
minutes.
Accountability for the electronic document management of the group.
Monitoring of functional Team inboxes and maintaining Grid Pages.
Supporting the financial processes for the team.
Raising Purchase Orders, follow-up on purchasing requests where required, receipt and reconcile regular accounts with suppliers as a Purchasing Officer.
Monitoring training needs for the HSCS Team. Coordinate training activities as required including scheduling, maintaining records and organising venues.
Maintaining program and employee information within the Success Factors, including entering attendance data, position based training requirements and individual development needs.
Providing planning, scheduling and administrative support to corporate wide training programs such as Our Story, The Line, Introduction to Incidents, Events & ALPs and Hazard Identification and Risk
Assessment.
Providing leave coverage for a range of roles within the HSCS Team including Capability Systems, Advisor, Safety Systems Advisor and Accommodation Officer (Cabramurra) roles as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent industry experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels inside and outside the business
Excellent organisational, facilitation and coordination skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
Knowledge of software applications such as the Google suite, Ellipse and Success Factors is desirable.
