Temporary full time opportunity to manage administrative activities of Inpatient Services (Ward Clerks, Transit Lounge, Day Procedure, Loose Leaf Filing, Permanent Relievers and Casuals) for Redcliffe Hospital including staff supervision and ongoing staff development.

Temporary full time opportunity to manage administrative activities of Inpatient Services (Ward Clerks, Transit Lounge, Day Procedure, Loose Leaf Filing, Permanent Relievers and Casuals) for Redcliffe Hospital including staff supervision and ongoing staff development.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide leadership, management, advice, ethical decision making and support to management and staff on operational activities related to purpose of this role in the direction of achieving department and organisational goals.
  • Develop and monitor systems for rostering and leave management and coordination of all HRM requirements related to roster management for multiple areas.
  • Manage designated staff according to the approved HRM framework including rostering, work allocation, workload monitoring, appropriate delegation and recruitment and performance management.
  • Analysis and monitoring of financial data of staffing budgets.
