Tandy Concrete is an independently owned premix concrete supplier that has fixed batch plants in Mackay, Marian and Airlie.

About the role

We are currently looking for a Fulltime Administration Officer to join our Mackay Office on a permanent basis.

You will be working in a niche office with a busy team environment, answering and directing incoming calls, providing quotes to customers, data entry of invoices and receipting payments, assisting with debtor collection and a variety of other administration tasks. Will also be required to provide support to the administrative team with other administration duties. 

Key duties include:

• Handling a high volume of calls from customers for orders and ensure excellent customer service outcomes are achieved.
• Providing quotes to customer 
• Data processing, customer invoicing, customer receipting and reconciliation, record-keeping and filing.
• A range of ad-hoc administrative duties as and when required.
• Working as part of a team.

Skills and experience

• Previous administrative experience
• Computer skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to clarify, resolve, multitask, time manage, make decisions in a high-volume deadline environment and work to achieve results.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn.
• Prepared to accept change.
• Able to work within a team.
