THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $57,369 - $61,947 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Drummond Street campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.
The Civil, Industrial, and Safety department is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Officer to be a part of a team delivering high quality training and assessment to the Victorian civil construction industry. Responsibilities of this role include assisting with student applications, enrolment and assessment documentation, providing administrative assistance to the Head of Department, and managing data collation and dissemination to key stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar tertiary qualification and / or relevant work experience.
- Experience in dealing with a broad range of people, face to face, telephone, and email in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment or work without supervision.
- High level customer service skills and telephone skills, providing courteous, informative and accurate responses to all enquiries.
- Ability to coordinate workflow, prioritise work tasks effectively and work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced technical competence in the use of the MS Office along with general database management software.
