A position has become available for our client in Derrimut, who operate in Warehouse Racking logistics. They are currently seeking a highly driven and experienced Office Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting for position for candidates who have a background in the office environment and is determined to take on new challengers.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Administrator responsible for office projects and tasks, as well as overseeing the work of other team members.
- Ordering and maintaining appreciate office supplies, within keeping in a budget as outlined by the Finance Manager.
- Organising off business travel for relevant team members. Ensuring the travel request form has been signed off by the relevant manager followed by the MD.
- Organising of business events, including interstate travel, conference, Christmas parties ect followed by approval from MD.
- Managing inbound and outbound calls/emails effectively and efficiently in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Work with HR consulting firm to handle recruiting, onboarding process, training, separation.
- Communicate with shipping lines and local freight companies for timely delivery of inwards goods/containers and outgoing shipments.
- Improving administrative systems.
- Other work assigned by department manager.
Skills:
- Must have a bachelor's degree or above.
- 3-4 years’ office admin experience, prefer HR background.
- Familiar with Logistic and import operations.
- Experience using office equipment and maintaining websites.
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
- Can work effectively with other team members and independently.
- Proficient in English.
