About us
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
The Administration Officer is responsible for a range of administration functions that support the daily operations of Court Support Services based at Dandenong and Ringwood Magistrates Court and the broader CSS Team in the South East region.
The role will have a Dandenong based location, with travel required for onsite support at Ringwood. Tasks include reception, database entry and referral management. The role involves regularly liaising with internal and external key stakeholders, requiring sound communication and planning skills.
About you
This role provides administrative assistance to a team of case managers and team leaders across the CISP and ARC programs that provide support to people who present with a range of complex needs who are participating in a court-based support program while in the community.
The Administration Officer will be an integral member of the CSS team, providing a range of administrative support duties in a front counter reception setting. Duties include data entry, records management and providing high quality customer service to clients, staff and external agencies.
