We offer more than 400 courses, from Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)/Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VM)/ Vocational Education and Training Delivered to Secondary Students (VETDSS), through to nationally accredited qualifications such as certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, degrees, graduate certificates, graduate diplomas and short courses.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be accountable for providing customer service, administrative and operational support to the Defence Delivery Business Area. You will focus on providing a customer service, administrative and professional support and service as well as responsibilities for any allocated specific activities and projects.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Ensure consistency with the Child Safe Standards[1] and respond in accordance with Institute’s policies and agreed practices
- Provide a high level of customer service to students, customers and staff:
- Ensure timely responses and effective client interaction in relation to student enquiries
- Process student enrolments, transfers and withdrawals, as well as following up on student absenteeism.
- Coordinate and follow up on student enrolment enquiries
- Assist in the preparation a range of regular and adhoc reports, documentation, papers and submissions
- Undertake administrative and related duties as required to ensure best quality of support and service for the students, customers and staff
- Assist in maintaining a centralised electronic filing system for records in the area, including TRIM and manual records, to ensure accessibility and reliability of business information Provide support in the control stock and stationary ordering to ensure cost control and the reliability of equipment and stock levels
- Undertake administrative and related duties as required to ensure best quality of support and service for the students, customers and staff

ABOUT YOU
You will have relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or related disciplines or equivalent experience in a similar role.
Crucial to your success will be your proven track record in building client relationships and ability to provide excellent telephone, face-to-face and email advice and support to a diverse range of people
You are a highly motivated Administration Officer with experience in confidently and courteously liaising with people at all levels, with a commitment to providing a high level of customer care and client satisfaction.
