APG Workforce are currently looking for an experienced Administration Officer -month contract Government Sector based in Rockhampton.

Pay Rate: $46.27 Per hour + Super AO3(1)
The Role
Working within the Forestry Business Services unit, specifically across the HR and WHS team, you will be part of a high performing, geographically dispersed team, operating within a dynamic environment undertaking the delivery of administrative support duties primarily with a focus on human resources and workplace health and safety activities in accordance with departmental processes. By working with us, you will have the opportunity to work with staff from across the business unit and department to assist in resolving issues and ensuring operational requirements are met while contributing to team goals.
Duties:
- Undertake a range of administrative support activities including but not limited to timesheet and leave reconciliation, processing of HR documents, general recruitment, onboarding and offboarding support.
- Utilising your high level of attention to detail, you will assist with the production, review and analyzing of information and data, using Departmental information systems.
- Maintain registers and databases and generate information for reporting purposes.
- Assist with remote area work processes for field staff including daily call-in procedures and coordination of training courses.
- Triaging and prioritizing emails and actions through a shared email mailbox ensuring deadlines are achieved.
- Provide accurate and efficient administrative services through the use of various Microsoft software packages including email, internet, word processing, spread sheets and data input, whilst ensuring that day to day activities align with business operations.
Possession of the following skills and capabilities will be considered when evaluating candidates for the role:
- Minimum intermediate level ability in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- Proven ability to positively contribute to a collegial team environment including a strong work ethic, ability to contribute to a team culture that values and rewards collaboration, innovation, performance
and positivity. - Communicates effectively in both oral and written forms with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to acquire knowledge of legislation, procedures, policies and regulations and apply these learnings effectively.

- Possession of a current Queensland C Class driver’s license
