Darley Aluminium is currently seeking a production assistant for a full-time position based in Keysborough. Darley is an Australian business involved in manufacturing kit windows and Is a distributor of Aluminium extruded products for commercial, residential and industrial applications.

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Melbourne production team as a production Assistant. You will be part of a dynamic team and have a key role in our kit window division. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day to day duties in delivering manufactured Aluminium residential windows throughout Australia, reporting directly to the Production Manager. 

In order to be a successful candidate, we are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual who possesses experience in an office environment with skills such as, operating MYOB or Exo Net, V6 design software and general admin and customer service duties, while having a sound understanding of Aluminium Windows and products.

Skill requirements:

• Attention to Detail
• Punctual
• Pride in workmanship
• Sound knowledge of aluminum window and doors
• A good phone manner with a high level of customer service skills
• Ability to work and function well within a team, but to also work well automatously 
• Able to operate an ERP system such as MYOB/Exo Net or equivalent
• Ability to operate our V6 Design software, highly regarded, but not essential
• General office and administration duties    
• Ability to work under pressure
• Have a willingness to learn and develop your skills 
• Reliable transport and current driver’s license

The successful candidate's main duties will include, but not be limited to, 

• Working closely with the production manager
• Entering in sales/purchase orders
• Designing windows through our V6 design software
• Quoting
• invoicing
• Customer service duties
• General admin duties
