The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced team. The successful candidate will organise all administrative aspects of the office by providing services for meetings, seminars and conferences, events, travel arrangements and appointments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide financial administrative support to the business unit by undertaking activities associated with procurement, budgeting, asset management, accounts payable and receivable and systems application (SAP/R3).
- Provide human resource support to the business unit by undertaking activities such as maintaining establishment, providing basic HR advice, and applying legislation.
- Contribute to the development of best practice in business systems by monitoring and reviewing work practices and making recommendations which lead to continuous improvement.
- Provide efficient and effective support to the work unit by maintaining efficient records management and information management systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating, negotiating, advising and working collaboratively with others to reach decisions
Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate high level understanding and technical skills in the following:
- Knowledge of policies and practices relating to finance, human resources and records management.
- Experience in the use of computers and software packages (eg. MS Office, electronic mail).
- Ability to apply oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in an administrative support role.
- Experience in solving problems and implementing solutions within a set timeframe.
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
