About the role
You will be reporting to the National Pallet Manager. The Warehouse Administrator/Pallet Controller oversees and manages the daily pallet operations. To succeed in this challenging role, you will need to effectively prioritise daily reporting, record keeping, and attention to detail to ensure time-critical milestones are achieved. Your hard work may lead to long-term career progression and opportunities for the right candidate. If successful, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Managing daily pallet operations within the Operations Excellence team
- Monitoring and recording pallet documentation and spreadsheets
- Work closely with the National Pallet Manager to ensure operations are efficient
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks in a Warehouse & Operations environment
- Ensure business and customer needs are met.
- Looking to start ASAP
- Proven experience as a pallet controller - MyChep, 2IC or similar software experience
- Up to 1 year’s experience within a Transport and Logistics Administration role or similar
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer savvy, with competent MS Office skills – strong understanding of excel
- High attention to detail, with an autonomous work ethic
- Track, monitor and report on deliveries
- Analytical nature and process-driven personality, with a keen sense of urgency
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transport
