ABOUT THE ROLE
Administrative Officer is accountable for providing customer service, administrative and operational support to the Business Area.
Your role will focus on providing a customer service, administrative and professional support and service as well as responsibilities for any allocated specific activities and projects.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Provide a high level of customer service to students, customers and staff
- Process student enrolments, transfers and withdrawals, as well as following up on student absenteeism.
- Continuously support any improvements in administration processes and systems to ensure the most effective use of resources and that they meet requirements, standards, changes and growth demands
- Maintain and process documentation, records and data, in accordance with agreed procedures and standards
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, industry partners and employers to support the objectives of the Institute
- Promote the Vision and goals of the organisation both internally and externally, with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Complete and actively participate in the development of own annual professional development plan consistent with Institute practices and policies
You will have a relevant Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or related disciplines or equivalent experience in a similar role
You will have proven experience in providing high level administrative support in a complex and demanding working environment with the ability to quickly develop rapport with key stakeholders and staff in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will have a strong client focus, with demonstrated experience in building client relationships, the ability to provide excellent telephone, face-to-face and email advice and support to a diverse range of people.
You are highly motivated, with exceptional communication skills, your personal style is flexible and collaborative with the ability to contribute to team capability and operate as part of a high performing team. Experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint is a must.
