Your new role
This recruitment relates to APS3 Administration Officers and APS4 Support Officer roles in both Claims Operations and Claims Administration and Income Support teams.
APS3 Administration Officers and APS4 Support Officers in the Claims Operations teams provide assistance and Support to Claims Managers in the management of worker's compensation claims. As part of their duties, they may be required to read and review sensitive information including clinical information and medical reports, as well as have direct contact with employees who are injured or unwell.
APS3 Administration Officers and APS4 Support Officers within the Claims Administration and Income Support team support client services and claim transactions such as the calculation of weekly incapacity benefits and processing accounts payable. APS4 roles in this team would be suitable for applicants with finance experience.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to identify, gather, record, analyse and share information to inform decisions in a service delivery context.
- Resilient, responsive and collaborative with a proven commitment to individual and team outcomes
- Effective communication skills to confidently communicate with colleagues, stakeholders and customers.
- At the APS3 level, experience undertaking procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks, including data entry.
- At the APS4 level, experience working in service delivery operations with ability to identify and mitigate risks that will impact outcomes.
- At the APS4 level for the Claims Administration and Income Support team, experience in financial and processing functions.
These roles would be suitable for applicants seeking entry-level opportunities. Data entry, administration and customer service experience will be an advantage. Comcare encourages applications from university graduates, students and those seeking part time working arrangements.
