We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated administration professional with excellent customer service skills to gain permanent employment with the largest employer and health care provider in East Gippsland. The contract: Ongoing, Part-Time, 32.0 hours per fortnight.

The Administration Support Officer is responsible for providing timely, accurate and efficient administrative support to assist the day-to-day operations of the Aboriginal Health Unit. Key to the role is the provision of customer service to patients, families, consumers and colleagues with a person-centred approach that is professional, approachable, responsive and compassionate at all times.

Key selection criteria:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in administration/reception/customer service role
- A good understanding of the local Aboriginal culture and community
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional, person centred manner and proven capacity to consider activities, decisions and outcomes from the perspective of the consumer or end-user
- Excellent organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise in response to varying work requirements.
- A competent user of MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
