Metroll Victoria is seeking a reliable , focused and committed person to join our Administration / Transport team on full time basis at our Laverton branch
About the role
This newly created position is to support the transport department with administration duties which will include but not limited to:
- Monitor and report on DIFOT
- Monitor drivers paperwork - Identify back orders, chase up cause and ensure delivery is arranged.
- Management of delivery tickets returned by the drivers.
- Answering customer and driver phone queries
- Back up support for customer liaison team.
- Confirming delivery times and customer allocation requests.
- Completing transport reports.
- Debriefing driver paperwork
- Liaising with operational staff to ensure all customer requirements are met
- Ad hoc administrative duties as directed by the Scheduling team and Transport manager
- Ensuring that all transport documents are correctly completed, filed and utilised in compliance with any and all regulatory standards for the transportation industry.

- Prior administration experience

Previous experience in the transport and logistics industry is highly regarded but not essential.
