Victoria’s Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) brings together key transport, planning, land, precinct and policy functions within a single department to create thriving places and connected communities. Together with our key agencies we are responsible for planning, building, operating, and maintaining Victoria’s transport and planning system for use by all.

This position is responsible for the preparation of high-quality written correspondence for a wide variety of stakeholders from all levels of government, key agencies and community members and support regional activities. As part of a team of diverse skills you will be expected to collaborate with other team members and provide support across the various support functions where required.

  Coordinate the smooth and effective day-to-day administrative operations of an office or team

  Manage the smooth operation of projects and cases including filing documents, scheduling appointments, and organizing files and documents

  Compares and ranks the relative importance &/or urgency of different tasks to identify the best order of actions

  Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exists in information and deliverables
