We are seeking a part-time Operations Assistant based in Vineyard NSW. The role involves managing contracts, yard and resources, business development, and supporting various operational activities. The ideal candidate must be an Australian resident/citizen, possess a driver's license, work well under pressure, have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently. Key Responsibilities
You will be reporting and directly assisting the Operations Manager and liaising with Pilequip technical and administrative staff, with responsibility to:
- Contract Management: Organising & controlling all new rental and sales contracts entered by the company, from initial enquiry; quotation; receipt of Order and executed Agreement to completion of work; invoicing and final payment with extensive customer liaison.
- Yard and Resources Management: Organising & controlling equipment dispatches, returns and incoming inspections (including subcontract cranes and transport as required); equipment repairs and maintenance (in the yard and at customer sites) to ensure minimum down-time and maximise availability for the rental program; allocation of personnel within the yard and to customers sites; management of the rental program; management of the workshop and yard and associated policies (such as transport management); OH&S, environmental management and the like.
- Business Development: examine and research new business initiatives and to assist in determining future expansion of Pilequip into profitable new markets and products and the like.
- Assist in activities undertaken by the Spare Parts & Stock Control Co-Ordinator and Accounts team as required.
- Taking telephone and email enquiries
- Invoicing through MYOB and dispatch of goods
- Coordinate with transport service providers.
- Creating special orders & purchasing from OEM
- Communication with local, national, and international suppliers and vendors
