MEDICAL BILLING (ANAESTHESIA) ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Part-Time 15 - 22.5 hours per week. Option for 37.5 hours (5 days) per week after first three months of employment. Job hours are 9am - 5pm. We are a group with 14 Specialist Anaesthetists. It is a great benefit to our roles to work within the hospital network and to have access to all the online information we need to do our job.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous medical billing experience preferable. Experience working with hospital Theatres, Health Funds and Medicare would be an advantage. ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Tasks & responsibilities
- QUOTING, BILLING AND ACCOUNT FOLLOW UP
- Answering phone calls.
- Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a small office environment and deal with customer concerns and queries in a sympathetic manner.
- Good communication skills.
- Liaising with patients & surgeons rooms
- Computer literacy
- Good touch typing speed
- All related admin duties, as required.
