About Our Neurosciences at Monash Health
Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 25,500 people across a range of specialties. Our Neurosciences (Ward 54) is a 46 bed unit which includes High Dependency beds and video monitoring beds with a primary focuses on patient care & recovery of Neurosurgery, Neurology and Stroke patients. Our department is one of two specialized Neuroscience facilities across Victoria. Proud of our ability to work within a large multidisciplinary team with the sole purpose of delivering exceptional patient centered care in a family friendly environment is our common goal.
About The Role
We are seeking a ward clerk with a strong focus on customer service and time management skills who is experienced and enjoys working within a ward team environment. The Neuroscience ward 54 is an acute specialty area consisting of a large multidisciplinary team consisting of Neurosurgery, Stroke, Neurology and a large allied health, support services and clerical team. You will have advanced ward clerk experience within the hospital system with competency in the programs used within the acute setting. A sound knowledge of medical terminology and computer/IT skills is essential. We are currently seeking interest in a part-time ward clerk to Tuesday to Thursday and alternative Saturday, 1530-2000 (with the possibility of extending to 2100) to join our ward clerk team on ward 54 at MMC. Essential requirements for this role include:
Demonstrate a commitment to customer service
Experience within the Health system
Strong IT skills
IPM & NPT experience
Friendly and approachable demeanour
