About the role
An exciting opportunity for an Administrative Officer to join our growing team!
This role will assist with all administrative functions relating to training and facilities across the Container Park sites including the management of services and processes, and training materials and records.
The key roles and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to the National Training Manager and the Trainers and Assessors
- Facilitate the management of the Learning Management System (enrolments, updates, assessments, records, cancellations, etc.,)
- Assist with the design and implementation of training materials for safety and operations,
- Utilise Microsoft Office Suite to digitalise training materials (PowerPoint, Word)
- Ensure that all training records are accurately reported and recorded in the Learning Management System
- Assist with the management of site facilities including office planning, alterations, office fit outs, relocations, general maintenance, purchasing furniture, archiving etc
- Raise daily operational PO's for adhoc services including Skip Waste Bin removal, Forklift Gas, Street Sweeper, AQIS bin removal, etc
- Maintain accurate maintenance records & schedules for all facilities plant and equipment on all sites
- Ensure that faults & problems at all DP World Container Parks sites are rectified at the earliest possible date
- Assist with site projects for safety and operations
- Raise PR's for all quotes approved by site
- Receipt PO's for goods delivered
- Assist with the electrical elements on site such as tag testing, wash equipment and general housekeeping
- Ordering of all PPE uniforms for all sites
About you
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Experience in customer service role
- Experience using financial systems (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in administration role
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and other database management programs necessary
