Job Description:
We are seeking a competent and organised Casual Secretary to join our dynamic team. The role primarily involves providing administrative support, processing orders and being the first port of call in maintaining effective communication with customers. The role will start as a casual two-day/week position, migrating to five-day/week maternity cover in early September 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming orders promptly and accurately.
- Handle daily administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and document
preparation. - Communicate with customers via phone calls and emails, providing assistance and addressing inquiries.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Assist in managing inventory and stock levels.
- Provide general office support as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar administrative role is desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency in MYOB is desired.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
