ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be accountable for providing high-level administrative, customer service and operational support to the Associate Director(s) and Dean of Higher Education.
This role will focus on providing a high level of administrative advice, professional support and service as well as responsibilities for any allocated specific activities and projects.
The incumbent is a key and active participant of the Associate Director administrative team and provides expertise in relation to key administrative functions, in particular, document production, enrolment and customer service support and management and monitoring internal compliance and procedures.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Act as the key contact person on behalf of the Associate Director(s) and Dean of Higher Education. Screen, respond, redirect, and register all forms of communication on their behalf as required
- Prepare agendas, and minutes at meetings and committees, regular and ad hoc reports, documentation, papers, submissions and correspondence accurately and consistently following the Chisholm style guidelines
- Assist in the coordination of internal and external events, such as ceremonies and/or conferences
- Coordinate the regular monitoring and review of action plans and other commitments made by Business Area(s)
- Understand and operate according to the defined business area budget and commit to pursuing cost-effective outcomes and efficiency across all your operation
- Provide advice on the state of the budget and monitor it at a broad high level
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, and industry and community partners to support the achievement of Chisholm’s objectives.
ABOUT YOU
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or related disciplines or extensive years of experience in a similar role.
Crucial to your success will be your proven track record of experience in providing high-level administrative support in a complex and demanding working environment and you can confidently convey ideas and information clearly and interestingly whilst understanding and meeting the needs of target audiences.
You are highly motivated and have experience in providing service excellence to all internal colleagues and external clients and you have significant experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
