Road Trains of Australia (RTA) is a major privately owned livestock transporter in Australia and prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of 90+ prime movers.
We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to be based in our Kalgoorlie Depot. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder who is able to provide a high level of customer service and support to the Depot Manager.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to:
- Provide excellent customer service and reception at the site
- Assist accounts payable team by collating and ensuring sign off of accounts prior to end of month
- Assist accounts receivable team by providing dockets for contractors as completed
- Assisting in timesheet entries
- Assisting with onboarding of new staff to site as directed
- Ordering of stationary and uniforms as required
- Assist senior staff with ad-hoc administrative functions as required
- Provide coverage of annual leave or absence
The successful applicant will possess the following;
- Strong demonstrated experience in a similar administrative role
- Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Products particularly Excel and Word
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible, innovative approach
