121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available) The Role Reporting to the Director Digital, Creative and Corporate Communications, this role leads coordination of communications planning and governance and supports project delivery within the Strategic Communications branch, as part of a talented, high-performing team. Key Accountabilities include but not limited to: Lead the delivery of advertising governance, integrated communications strategy development and project delivery Lead annual planning processes to identify, prioritise and phase the pipeline of marketing and communications activities Manage the delivery of the department's Annual Advertising Plan and campaign approvals Proactively identify and lead improvements to communications and marketing planning, delivery and evaluation Establish, maintain and manage positive, professional and effective working relationships Play an active role as a member of the leadership team Note that the role works with marketing teams but does not directly deliver marketing activities Flexible working arrangements, a great culture and the opportunity to do meaningful, interesting work are all on offer in this exciting role. The Team The position of Advertising and Strategic Planning Manager forms a part of the Corporate Services Group and Strategic Communications Branch. This Branch is responsible for:

• the department's communications policy, governance and advice;

• delivery of media pipelines, communications strategy and issues management;

• corporate communications support for DJSIR inclusive of internal, corporate and emergency communications, and

• providing selected communications services on a cost recovery basis. About You Leading a small team and working in collaboration with other teams and subject-matter experts, you will have broad strategic communications and marketing experience and the ability to design and drive a new program of work. You will be experienced at proactively driving improvement and leading and influencing change.
