After Hours Coordinator -

Short term contract available 4-6 weeks starting December 20th 2023 This role involves trouble shooting any clinical acuity issues. Covering departments Emergency, Theatre, Dialysis, Oncology, Midwifery, Acute, Sub-Acute and Aged Care

• Co-ordinate the provision of safe, effective, evidence based and person centered care throughout the hospital during rostered shifts. This includes a bed management and patient flow function to ensure timely and appropriate allocation of beds including acceptance of patient transfers to in the context of patient acuity, nursing resource availability and capacity
• Monitor work practices and management strategies
• Increase efficiency and effectiveness within nursing services
• Manage nursing resources
• Maintain appropriate information flow throughout organisation

Located in the north west of Victoria, approximately 3 and a half hour drive from Melbourne. It is a fantastic family location with tremendous schools, sporting facilities, restaurants all on the banks of the Murray River!

• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience in similar role
• Current National Police Check & Working with Children’s Check
• Complete COVID Vaccinations & 2023 Flu Vaccination, Serology evidence of immunisation status.
