Results Direct P/L is an Australian data driven digital solutions supplier to automotive manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand. We provide automotive manufacturers with business solutions which drive Trade Parts Sales for their Dealer network.
A Full-Time, permanent role based out of GM HQ (NSW) is available for a highly motivated, results driven, Aftersales Business Development professional.
As the Aftersales Business Development Manager, you’ll be joining the broader General Motors Australia & New Zealand (GM ANZ) Aftersales team.

Your purpose is to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the GM ANZ network, and work with the business partner leadership to nurture strong process and business growth across all portfolios.
You will facilitate the creation, execution and maintenance of Business Development strategies for each partner operation and drive business programs and initiatives including the GM Trade Parts Program and ACDelco Service Centers. You will have a very customer centric focus and a can-do approach to problem solving and relationship building.
Best in class support, data analytics and programs are available and utilised to support the role's key objectives.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager (Australia and New Zealand), the successful applicant should demonstrate the following:
- Developing and implementing activities, processes and action plans to improve overall operation and output in line with the current key business objectives.
Including but not limited to;
- GM & ACDelco Parts Sales
- Service Lane Output (Daily RO’s, $/VIN, Customer Retention, etc.)
- GMSV Dealer KPI’s and Customer Satisfaction (DPPM)
- Stock Effectiveness
- GM Trade Parts Sales Performance
Skills & Experience:
- Optimise the interactions and working relationships between various departments within our GMANZ partners to ensure optimal performance across key business measures.
- Ensure effective understanding and use of GMANZ dashboards and CRM tools across all departments.
- Regular benchmark and performance analysis around Customer Satisfaction and other GMANZ performance criteria.
- Critically analyse partner efficiencies in service booking, customer handling, workshop and parts stocking profile management.
- Assist in the development of strategies to lift parts sales and other efficiencies across all departments.
- Be the primary contact for the partner sites parts operation to review, advise and monitor activities associated with the retail and wholesale sides of the operation.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through discussions with existing partners but also identify new opportunities through proactive networking and seeking out new business.
- Conduct regular Aftersales Business meetings to discuss key business objectives, targets and program performance and develop effective action plans to support.
- Ensure Direct Parts Outlets (DPO) are compliant and effective with RIM stocking policies and obsolescence requirements.
- Actively promote and support the expansion of the GM Trade Parts program and ACDelco All Makes strategy.
- Utilise the online contact reporting system to plan, visit and document GMANZ partner engagements. Setting appointments, creating agendas, confirming key actions and monitoring performance and improvement towards objectives.
- Develop, apply and monitor specific performance improvement plans where performance is below acceptable standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
About you
You’re experienced in sales/marketing or aftersales roles with an emphasis on major vehicle brand with at least 5 years’ experience. You have a passion for Business Development and a can-do approach to problem solving with the confidence to make decisions. To be successful in this role you will have the following competencies:

Education: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Engineering are considered highly desirable.
Salary to be negotiated based on experience.
