Situated in Queensland, one of the prestigious big four, we're in search of our next Junior/Senior Agribusiness Banking Manager to helm our impressive Agribusiness portfolios. As part of our team, you'll provide expert guidance across dynamic agricultural industries, spanning the entire supply chain from farm to plate, including crucial post-farm-gate operations and partnerships with leading exporters.
Collaborate with the cream of Australia's agriculture financial service providers, backed by seasoned colleagues and a dedicated Agribusiness Manager, all dedicated to delivering tangible outcomes for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and manage a portfolio of Corporate Agribusiness Banking customers and Referral partners.
- Identify fresh Agribusiness opportunities and forge networks of internal and external contacts.
- Evaluate the economic value and risk potential of new business ventures.
- Uphold and augment portfolio credit risk profile and profitability.
- Spearhead initiatives to propel customer growth within the local market.
- Scrutinize annual cash flows and financial statements to nurture relationships.
- Authorize lending within delegated authorities and craft lending proposals for approval.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with lending policies and regulations.
Role Requirements:
- Seasoned Relationship Manager with a degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification (e.g., CA, PY, ACCA, MBA, CIB).
- Profound background in Australian Agriculture complemented by credit assessment expertise.
- Thorough understanding of Agribusiness dynamics, including post-farm-gate practices.
- Laser-focused on fostering customer growth, lending, credit assessment, and control.
