About the Role
The Alliance Manager position is offered on a full time maximum term contact until 30 June 2025 with the main aim to oversee, guide and support the delivery of the Stronger Together Intensive Family Services programs based in our Midland office.
This position is a part of our Management Team reporting to the Executive Manager. It will provide management and guidance to a team of experienced Team Leaders, Case Coordinators Case Workers within the Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS). The IFSS provides a comprehensive support to families, reunification and diverting at risk children from the out-of-home care system throughout the Perth, Joondalup, Mirrabooka and Midland areas.
A few specifics:
- Responsible for the overall performance, reputation and partnerships of the Intensive Family Support Services, including workforce development and management of the team.
- Ensure all staff are operating within Centrecare’s Therapeutic Framework.
- Provide management supervision and support to staff.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Conduct regular audits of service standards.
- Provide regular updates on service delivery and outcome reports.
- Contribute to the Agency leadership and management team as requested.
What we are looking for
We are interested in a strong leader and communicator with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with Senior Management on long term goals. Someone that can support, mentor, and provide staff with a solution focused approach.
To be successful:
- Possession of a post-graduate qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Counselling, Community Development and/or related disciplines.
- Commitment to lead within Centrecare’s Purpose, Values, Therapeutic Framework and develop the agency ethos.
- Demonstrated experience in providing oversight of cultural appropriate strength-based outreach services for children, young people and families.
- Demonstrated knowledge of First Nations people’s cultures, family systems and social structures; and historical perspectives.
- Senior Management experience in the Community Services sector or similar.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate staff.
- Comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of counselling approaches and theoretical frameworks applicable to office based and outreach service delivery.
- Possession of a C class drivers license.
- National Police Clearance.
