Our client located in the West suburbs of Melbourne who are continuously seeking temps to support their team in the Local Laws Department. They are after candidates who are passionate in shaping the future of their city and the people who are part of it, as well as encourage their employees to grow and develop to their best potential.
Your new role
You will be an experienced Animal Management Officer and your duties on a daily basis will include:
- Animal collections; cat traps, catch poles and picking up strays to be taken to the pound
- Dealing with complaints; noise
- investigations
- Animal patrols - proactive and reactive
- Animal registrations
What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent communication and organisation skills as well as;
- Experience working as a Local Laws and Animal Management
- Passion for contributing to the community
- Cert IV in Local Government and Animal Regulations
- Valid police check and a clean drivers' licence
