Haynes Butchery Tocumwal is a busy, traditional-style retail butcher shop. Nestled by the picturesque Murray River, our business welcomes an abundance of visitors during the warmer seasons and steadily supplies the local community, supermarket and restaurants year-round.
Haynes Butchery trades 6 days per week (Monday - Saturday), with a short trade on Saturdays. Days begin early!
We prioritize finding the perfect fit and seek someone dedicated to the trade. Therefore, we are open to discussing various options such as work experience, casual employment periods, or school-based apprenticeships. This approach allows individuals to explore and try their hand at the industry before committing to a full-time apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will complete a qualification in Certificate III Meat Professing (Retail) to become a qualified butcher, with the majority of trade school carried out on-site.
