Location: Canberra, ACT
Hourly rate: $56-63 p/h
Contract duration: 6 months
- Providing governance and secretariat services for key corporate committees, subcommittees, and working groups.
- Assisting in ensuring compliance with legislative obligations.
- Drafting strategic reports and briefing papers on complex issues.
- Analysis of complex issues and contribution to policy formulation or project management.
- Developing and maintaining key internal and external relationships.
- Providing specialist advice and guidance on team functional responsibilities.
- Additional responsibilities during electoral events: Supporting program and project areas where required.
Requirements:
- Negative Clearance (NV1)
- Australian citizenship & political neutrality
- Experience and expertise in corporate governance, with a proactive attitude towards obtaining relevant qualifications.
- Demonstrated proficiency in setting priorities, delivering high-quality outcomes within specified parameters of time and budget.
- Effective communication skills, adept at understanding and fulfilling stakeholder needs across diverse geographic locations.
- Strong analytical capabilities, enabling the identification of opportunities for change and contribution to business improvement strategies.
- Tertiary qualifications in corporate governance, public administration, or related fields are preferred.
- Ability to swiftly acquire knowledge of Australian electoral law and practice is desirable.
