The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a motivated individual who will contribute to the effective operations, maintenance, and pool supervision at BVSC aquatic facilities.
As an Aquatic Operations Officer, you will contribute to planning and complete pre-season commissioning and post-decommissioning of seasonal facilities. You will assist with identification and control of hazards and risks in the aquatic facility environment.

About You
We are seeking an individual who has their Aquatic Technical Operator qualification and has Minimum Five (3) years’ experience as a pool lifeguard, pool operator.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to provide appropriate supervision, first aid and emergency assistance to stakeholders for safe pool operation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of swimming pool facilities, including pool equipment, filtration, water testing, chemical dosing, and heating system.
- Appropriate level of physical fitness to carry out the duties required.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 38 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $71,878.56 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1245.30 per week base salary
- $136.98 per week superannuation (calculated at 11%)
- Rostered day off scheme (nine day fortnight)
