Unite Advisory is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team of 40 people across three offices. The position available will be a support accounting role to senior accountants in the Coffs Harbour office. Ideally this is a full-time position, but it can be flexible to suit the appropriate candidate.
Your role will involve:
- General accounting duties relating to Sole Traders, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts and SMSFs. This will include various reconciliations and workpapers.
- Work with MYOB, Xero, and various other cashbook data used by our clients.
- Work with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Email.
- Assistance in the preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns and BAS Returns.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Time management skills and organisational abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Lateral Thinker
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of accounting systems, practices and software is highly desirable.
