Assistant Accountant
Reports to: Finance Manager
Location: Burnley, Victoria
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the Accounts/Finance Manager and CFO with the management of our day-to-day Accounts functions including:
- Accounts Payable, including reconciliation of international payments;
- Accounts Receivable with a focus on EOM payment reconciliation and claim resolution
- Processing financial transactions and data entry, reconciliation, banking, etc.
- Financial Reporting (profit & loss, balance sheet variance, performance reporting, BAS)
- Payroll (processing, reporting, superannuation, PAYG, Payroll tax)
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in transactional accounting role
- Experience in using MYOB Advanced an advantage
- Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively manage workloads and deadlines.
- Knowledge and understanding of account management principles
- Excellent written and personal communication skills
