The Role:
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller your role will see you responsible for the following:
- Assisting with the month-end closing process
- Processing rebates
- Process journal entries and accruals.
- Prepayments and Reconciliations
- Manage AR processes
- Handling customer queries
- Provide support to finance team related to all accounting and administrative tasks.
- Liasing with stakeholders and other employees - strong communication skills are a must
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting / Business
- Studying towards / completed CA or CPA (not essential)
- SAP experience beneficial
- Computer literacy with a sound understanding of spreadsheets and reconciliation procedures.
- Previous experience with month end responsibilities/rebates
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written
- Must have own transport - hard to reach on public transport
