Our client, a Japanese company is seeking an Assistant Accountantbased in Sydney CBD. You will be responsible for ensuring company transactions are accurately recorded and you will also handle office administration. The ideal candidate will have a bookkeeping or accounting experiences or degree in accounting.
Description
The key responsibilities will be:
- Support in generating monthly financial report
- Conduct data entry, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll
- Support in preparation of budget and monthly forecast reporting
- Support audit
- Calculate payroll tax and BAS
- Other administration duties as required
Profile
In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and strengths:
- Basic accounting knowledge and experience is a must
- Similar experience as an Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant preferred
- Interest in Japanese culture or business will be highly regarded
- Japanese language skill is preferred but not a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders is essential
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team and flexibility to take on various duties
