Qualifications & experience
- Degree in business administration and Accounting, finance, and business management. Consideration will be given for a Certificate IV Bookkeeping with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Proficient level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to maintain confidential and sensitive information
- Skilled in Microsoft programs including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel (Android and Apple)
- Xero (Advanced
- MYOB AccountRight (Advanced)
- Excel (Advanced)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Payroll processing (experienced)
- Manage payroll and superannuation payments.
- Ensure timely processing of financial transactions and bank reconciliations.
- Assisting with monthly and annual reporting.
- Assist in preparing and processing journals.
- Prepare reports for management
- Manage accounts payables and accounts receivable
- Working collaboratively, building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders and providing support to the wider team.
- Liaison and preparation of reports for the external accountants
- Ad hoc accounting duties
