The Enterprise Strategy and Transformation Division (ESTD) is responsible for enabling, assuring, governing, planning, reporting, and advising on the current and future activities of the Indigo Program. The Division has engaged specialists who are experts in their respective fields, and at the same time provides opportunities for change, growth and development for individuals who want to want to apply their skills and experience in a new environment, while building, shaping, and potentially redirecting their careers.

The Indigo Program Management Office Branch is pivotal to the successful delivery of the Indigo Program. It is the Branch that steers the direction of the Program ensuring that the Program meets its obligations to Government, while providing critical business support services across the Group.

The Indigo Governance and Assurance section undertakes a wide range of activities to support the effective and efficient operations of the program. This role will also involve facilitating strategic activities for the Program, requiring engagement with internal stakeholders. The Assistant Director, Governance and Assurance will have excellent relationship management skills, forming and maintaining positive working relationships across the Enterprise Transformation Group and the agency.

To excel you’ll have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate information to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to drive high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
  • Strategic stakeholder management skills, with the ability to achieve outcomes with team members, colleagues and senior executive.

  • Strong attention to detail and experience in managing quality assurance (writing, editing, proof reading) of high volumes of correspondence, briefs and reports.
  • Experience effectively managing competing priorities and strategic directions, with an ability to remain calm under pressure and respond flexibly to change and uncertainty.
  • Proven ability to make sensitive and complex decisions using professional judgement within legislative parameters and delegated authority.
