Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd is situated in Mackay Queensland and operates 2 aged care facilities comprising 240 beds across both sites. Our purpose is to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment that supports our residents to live their later years to the fullest.
We are seeking Assistants in Nursing to work within our clinical team. We offer full time and part-time positions. Applicants will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate competence in assisting residents with activities of daily living
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide accurate and comprehensive documentation
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Possess an empathetic attitude to the needs of the residents
- Reliable and flexible approach to a 24 hour rostering system
- Knowledge of Residential Care Standards and experience in aged care would be an advantage
- Evidence of three Covid vaccinations and a current annual flu vaccination.
- Police Check Clearance
