Position: Casual Assistant in Nursing (AIN)

A rare opportunity has arisen to join our VPS team in a pivotal patient and clinical support role.
THE HEART OF THE ROLE:
Valley Plastic Surgery is looking for a motivated and experienced AIN who will emulate our commitment to providing exceptional service. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a high level of personalised patient care. You will work closely with a team of experienced Specialist Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologist and nurses at our Fortitude Valley practice.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Assisting with the provision of high-quality nursing care under the guidance of our experienced registered nursing team.
- Supporting patients through their surgical journey, offering assistance and education.
- Medical photography
- Help in maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, safe clinical environment.
- Participate in the preparation of surgical and treatment rooms.
- Assisting specialist with minor procedures in rooms
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient-centred care.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a surgical or outpatient setting, will be highly regarded.

This is a casual position for a minimum of two days a week exclusive of leave cover. Hours are rostered between 8am and 7pm weekdays.
