Redpath Partners are proud to be partnering with one of the largest global real estate asset managers. With a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region we are recruiting a talented individual to join their debt investment business based in Australia.
The opportunity
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for various forms of portfolio management, underwriting and transaction execution - contributing to new initiatives and projects across the Asia Pacific debt platform. Responsibilities include:
- Assist in establishing clearly defined investment objectives, including target returns, risk parameters, and investment structures.
- Support credit analysis, draft and review credit applications, conduct transaction due diligence, contribute to deal documentation and closing processes.
- Draft and review investor presentations and reporting, both internally and to third parties.
- Coordinate and project manage various processes and deliverables between internal business units and third parties, including loan servicing, loan asset management, internal operations, fund administrators, and fund accounts.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, results orientated with an ambition to work across a global leadership team and enjoy communicating to a wide variety of capital partners and internal stakeholders. The following experience/skillset is desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
- A good understanding or a passion growing within credit investments across a variety of capital structures
- Strong modelling capability with some experience in transaction execution, underwriting debt deals, assessing debt structures and risk mitigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
