We are seeking early career candidates with a knack and passion for AV and media technology to join our vibrant team within the Knowledge Services department, where we're committed to equipping students with cutting-edge digital tools for their educational journey.
In this role, you'll provide exceptional customer support to students, parents, and staff, prioritizing their needs with professionalism and care. From troubleshooting technical issues to ensuring seamless operation of AV equipment, you'll minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency.
Become an expert in digital video displays, mastering everything from source to display devices, including resolutions, frame rates, and formats. You'll also excel in managing video conferencing platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom, seamlessly integrating peripherals for optimal performance.
With your expertise in handling AV equipment, including installation and safe lifting practices, you'll maintain an organized workspace where tools are readily accessible. Under the guidance of the Head of Media and AV, you'll interpret technical plans and execute flawless setups for various events.

You will possess:
- Dedication to exceptional customer service, ensuring high-quality support.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and operating AV equipment.
- Fluency with video conferencing platforms and hardware.
- Ability to physically transport and setup equipment.
- Proficiency with Apple, Windows and Microsoft Office environments.
- Basic knowledge of IT networks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Possession of a current, valid Blue Card.
Additionally, it would be highly desirable if you have:
- Understanding of networking principles and their application in AV.
- Familiarity with DSP/Control platforms and AV over IP protocols.
- A solid grasp of Analogue and Digital Audio workflows.
- Experience in Live Event Production and Video Production.
- Competency in Audio, Video, and Photo Editing software.
- History of self-driven learning and up-skilling.
Please note there is a requirement to work flexible hours to support College events where needed.
