We are Queensland’s biggest Behaviour Support team located in Eight Mile Plains. We are building a dynamic hub of excellence in ABA, with BCBA, Clinical Psychology supervisors and senior clinicians on staff to support and mentor you.

About the role
As a Behaviour Support Technician, effectively deliver high level, evidenced based Behaviour Support under direct supervision of Behaviour Support Practitioners, to support people with disabilities, families, staff and managers. Effectively upskilling stakeholders and implementing evidence-based approaches to Behaviour Support, the position will reduce the impact of challenging behaviour across the organisation. Some on your daily tasks will include:
- Implementation sessions with customers either in the home, SIL, Schools
- Stakeholder support
- Case notes
- Behaviour Recording
- Training to stakeholders of the PBS developed by the practitioner

What do you need to apply?
- Completion of (or working towards) Registered Behaviour Technician Course (40hrs)
- Current Qld Driver’s License
- Up to date Covid Vaccination Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Clearance.
- Experience and knowledge
- Cert IV in Disability OR 3 years direct experience in disability support with individuals with high and challenging behaviour/s.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating the provision of support to people with a disability and their families and support networks.
- Knowledge of the State Disability Services Act relating and National Quality and Safeguards Framework as they apply to restrictive practices and demonstrated experience in implementing positive Behaviour Support plans.
Some interstate travel may be required!
