PARC Engineering are specialists in Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation projects. We provide technical services to the Australian Resources and Energy sectors with specific experience in the Minerals and Mining, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure, and Power Generation Industries.
We are currently seeking an experienced Bid Coordinator to join our estimation and proposals team delivering tenders and proposals for projects across our Resources and Infrastructure divisions in our head office located in Applecross. We are looking for an experienced professional that has a proven background bid coordination across a range of projects.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role is responsible for executing all the bid coordination requirements efficiently and effectively while meeting client expectations around deliverable timeframes and deliver compliant bids, proposals, submission and presentations.
As a Bid Coordinator, you will work with a team of highly skilled professionals and consultants to deliver tenders, bids, proposals, submissions and presentations for a diverse range of clients. You will prioritise developing sincere relationships with our clients so that you can develop a deep understanding of their challenges and opportunities with the objective to create value driven bids that connect strategy with innovative solutions and client drivers.
As a Bid Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Produce client centred bids, proposals, tenders, submissions and presentations that clearly articulate the value and benefits of complex innovative and technical solutions.
- Develop and write compliant, concise and compelling content working closely with subject matter experts, technical leads, and business service representatives.
- Review bid documentation, ensuring a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial commitments to which the Company will be obligated.
- Assist with business development methodologies, including opportunity qualification, validation, database and win/loss debriefs.
- Provide support to internal and external marketing pursuits and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our clients.
- Coordinate all the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure they produce deliverables to the required deliverables and timeframes.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Proven experience (2-5 years) delivering tenders and proposals across the construction, mining and infrastructure sectors
- Demonstrated experience in similar bid coordination to tender coordination roles across similar projects
- Confidence and ability to manage multiple projects and liaise with multiple clients simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Well-developed bid and tender register management
- Be able to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels
- Work well within a estimation team and demonstrated ability interact with all levels in an organisation
- Have a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Tertiary Degree in a related field – nice to have, but not mandatory !!
