In this exciting role, you will be responsible for project managing bids throughout the bid lifecycle and the design, development and delivery of new offers.
Responsibilities:
Establish the bid project requirements baseline in a collaboration with the Bid Manager and the Capture Leader
Define complex software centric projects (System of System & multi-party)
Manage multiple internal, subcontract and customer teams and partners
Define large scale system of system integration with multiple technologies
Configuration management complexities in a dynamic multi-stakeholder environment
Develop working relationships with all key stakeholders in a complex bid and project environment
Maintain a strong internal and external customer focus
Manage multiple priority actions across internal and external customers
Maintain delivery to bid schedule and requirements with a strong focus on cost optimisation / competitiveness
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Commercial Degree with Management focus underpinned by a Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, APM, IPMA, AIPM)
5-10 years of experience in a Project Management role delivering Air Traffic Management (ATM) products, systems and/or services delivery
Experience in delivering ATM projects in an international/multinational environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders and subcontractors
Project experience entailing both software & hardware systems
Experience in managing multidisciplinary IT engineering staff
Experience in delivering complex, system of systems projects
Exposure to delivering projects to an aggressive schedule
Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise documents that clearly articulate complex technical detail
Flexibility to travel if required (interstate / international)
Ideally eligibility to obtain an Australian Defence Clearance
