About the role:
As the Bid Manager, you will manage the full bid lifecycle and work in a collaborative environment with a team of forward thinking individuals who value innovation. This role will be based at our Derrimut Vic office.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Manage the end-to-end EOI, quotation and tender processes including responses to technical and non-technical sections for allocated customer and business opportunity bids
- Work with sales team to develop and manage the entire ‘Bid Process’ cycle with timely completion and compilation of all stages
- Work with design, estimating, commercial and construction teams to ensure accuracy of Scope of Works and on time delivery of bids
- Preparation of high-quality bid documents which meet Fleetwood brand requirements
- Generate estimate, quotation and EOI letters
- Maintain central information point of bidding excellence, the relevant drives and CRM
- Review bid responses to ensure alignment to the customers response criteria and Fleetwood process
- Assist the Sales team with preparing, sourcing, processing and maintaining all project related information and documents e.g. updating status within Navision / AX
- Saving all tender, bid and project information to relevant job folders within Navision / AX network drives
- Create and manage tender, bid and project working documents as required including detailed handover meetings on project award
- Collaborate with Management and projects team to ensure thorough understanding of up coming works
- Management of Pipeline and Go-Get reporting for accurate weekly forecasting
- Creation and management of all customer responses i.e. quotes / tenders in Navision / AX network drives
- Ensure alignment of all processes and procedures with National Fleetwood requirements
- Collaboration with interstate peer groups
The successful applicant will be someone who has a high attention to detail and is driven by results. Playing an integral part within our sales process you will have great customer service and client management skills, coupled with the ability to think outside of the square. A high level of administration and management skills are required for this role, and the ability to prioritise and identify immediate sales opportunities is integral to the position.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create effective presentations

- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to develop and understand complex concepts
- Excellent computer skills, specifically word and excel and use of internal databases
- Adobe Suite skills (InDesign)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Good understanding of sales and marketing methodologies and practices
- Excellent attention to detail
