Your Opportunity: In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated bid coordinator and work on bids ranging from $100k to $15 million, encompassing integrated Facility Management (FM) bids, which include cleaning and maintenance services. Our client boasts a robust bid library, providing valuable resources to support your efforts in crafting winning proposals.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a strategic role in shaping the company's growth trajectory through successful bid submissions and securing new business opportunities.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Manage the entire bid process, ensuring timely submissions and client-focused proposals.
- Develop bid strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders effectively.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate bid risks by reviewing documents thoroughly and allocating resources accordingly.
- Build relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
- Stay updated on competitor intelligence and market trends to innovate bid strategies.
- Gather feedback to refine the bid process and contribute to product development.
- Analyzing bid performance for improvement.
- Coordinate with company leadership to align bids with organizational goals and support operations teams during transitions.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in bid writing, management, proposal development, or a similar role
- An understanding of the operational aspects of Facilities Management sector and its service delivery.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
- Strategic planning abilities and the ability to negotiate.
- Motivational leadership, persuasion, and development skills.
- Problem solving skills coupled with effective decision making.
- Experience in business development and contract interpretation.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and bid portals.
