We are looking for an energetic professional to add to our team. Bookkeeping / accounts experience using Xero is a must. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Someone who is well organised, flexible, and enjoys administrative challenges and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Create invoices in Xero
- Follow up debtors
- Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Manage contract and price negotiations with vendors and service providers
- Responsible for social media content
- Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved, and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored
- the expenditures, analyzing variances, and carrying out necessary corrections that may arise
- Design and implement filing systems
- Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
- Establish and monitor procedures for record/bookkeeping
- Proven office administrative, or assistant experience
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Must be fluent in English and have great verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Experience in adding and creating social media content
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Xero
- Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures
- Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
- Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
