The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- Must have proven bookkeeping and administration experience. A certificate in bookkeeping is favourable but not mandatory.
- Ideally experience working in an import / export or warehouse / wholesale business
- Professional, reliable and punctual
- Have a can do attitude
- Excellent time management skills
- Clear verbal and written communicator
- Experience in Excel, Outlook and other MS applications
- Experience with accounting software (need to be proficient in bookkeeping functions)
- Experience in financial day to day behaviour of a small-medium business
Responsibilities of the successful applicant:
- Bank Reconciliation
- Payroll and superannuation preparation
- Accounts payable / receivable
- Data entry of invoices and reconciling all debtor and creditor statements
- Sales invoicing
- Debt collection
- Produce end of month financial reports
- Maintain cash flow reports
- Preparation of BAS and IAS
- Communication with customers and staff
- General office duties
- Document scanning
- Electronic & paper filing
