Seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join an industry leader where you will be working closely with the Managing Director to ensure up to date and accurate financials and implementing systems and process improvements to streamline the accounting function.
With an impressive industry reputation built over 45 years, this privately owned business continues to experience significant growth and requires a hands on Bookkeeper who has exceptional attention to detail, strong accounting and business acumen and enjoys being part of a fast paced and driven company culture.
Key responsibilities include:
· System and process improvement to create greater efficiencies and accurate and timely reporting
· BAS, PAYG and Superannuation payments
· Profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow reports
· Overseeing accounts payable processes
· Ensuring invoices are entered correctly and preparing payment runs
· Management of the payroll function and entering new employees into the system and handling payroll queries
· Accounts receivable and debtor management
· Bank and credit card reconciliations
· Foreign currency payments for imported goods
· Renewals of insurances
· Producing adhoc reports for management
· Liaising with the external Accountant on taxation matters
To be successful in this role you would have come from a commercial background, be able to utilise your experience across all aspects of the accounting functions and enjoy being a hand’s on operator who takes great pride in delivering insightful and accurate accounting information.
